FUTUFON TECHNICIAN

You can work as a phone technician at the Futufon office. Here's how to get started.

HOW TO GET THE JOB

1. HEAD TO THE OFFICE
Go to the Futufon Office located in the old Kotimuoti Oy factory building off the main highway.

The building has TEFFELGREN written on the sign.

2. GO INSIDE
Enter the building and find the manager.

3. TALK TO THE MANAGER
Press K on your keyboard to interact with the manager.

4. SIGN THE CONTRACT
The manager will give you a contract that you need to sign.

5. START WORK
You will start the job the next Monday!

6. WORK HOURS
You are required to work a minimum of 8 hours per day.

SCHEDULE: 07:00 - 17:00
SLIDING HOURS: If you arrive late, your shift extends accordingly. Show up at 08:00? You work until 18:00. Be on time if you value your evenings — there's no daylight to miss anyway.
BREAK: You get 1 hour for break. Make the most of it.
OVERTIME: Work 8 extra hours total and you earn yourself an extra day off.

MANDATORY MEETING: Every Tuesday there is a staff meeting. Don't miss it!

BEFORE STARTING WORK

1. CLOCK IN
Use the punch clock to register your arrival before heading inside.

[!TIP]
The punch clock also displays the current time — useful since your watch is a bit unreliable.

2. REMOVE WINTER CLOTHES
Take off your winter gear before entering the work floor.

3. HEAD TO YOUR WORKSTATION
Inside you'll see 2 rows of tables with boxes in between. The optimal workstation is at the rightmost row, at the furthest table near the supply boxes.

The completed charger boxes go in the big box at the back near the shelves.

OPTIMAL WORKSTATION SETUP

Efficiency is key — this job gets repetitive fast. A good layout makes the work less tedious and keeps you productive.

RECOMMENDED LAYOUT
Grab your materials from the supply boxes and arrange them like this:

Leave space for 4 plastic trays on the table
Keep 4 folded boxes ready nearby
This setup lets you complete an entire layer of charger boxes at a time

With this layout, you can realistically finish 2 full boxes per day.

HOW TO WORK

The assembly process is straightforward:

1. Grab a plastic tray

2. Place a charger inside the tray

3. Add a manual to the tray

4. Grab an unfolded box

5. Fold the box

6. Put the tray inside the box

7. Close the box

8. Place the finished box inside the bigger shipping box

9. Repeat.

It's simple and monotonous, but with an efficient layout you'll at least get through your quota without wanting to quit.
