WOODCUTTING OPERATIONS
Generate income by processing logs into firewood and delivering them to customers throughout the region.
EQUIPMENT SETUP
This job requires the use of the Kekmet 502 and the hydraulic wood splitter found at the woodshed.
- POSITIONING: Reverse the Kekmet until it is directly in front of the splitter mechanism.
- PTO CONNECTION: Manually connect the PTO Shaft from the splitter to the rear power take-off on the tractor.
- ENGAGEMENT: Activate the PTO system using the lever located on the left side of the steering wheel.
- THROTTLE SETTING: To maximize efficiency, pull the Hand Throttle to its full position to increase the engine's RPM and the splitter's speed.
WORKFLOW
- COLLECTION: Retrieve logs from the storage area next to the barn.
- PROCESSING: Push the logs into the chipper. The machine will automatically process the wood and feed it into the attached trailer.
